Great British Car Journey – Family Ticket Only £20

Great British Car Journey is the newest car museum in the UK. It opened in 2021 and has won numerous awards . Visitors are taken on a journey using a hand held device offering information in both audio and visual form. There are more than 150 cars on display charting both the history of our once great car industry and the massive rise in car ownership in the 20^th century.

In addition, there are another 60 classic cars which can be driven by visitors on selected days of the week.

The museum is also home to one of the longest hot wheels track in the Midlands with the opportunity for two hot wheels cars to race one another side by side achieving scale speeds of over 200 miles per hour along a downhill course which is over 100 feet long.

The raceway is situated outside the entrance to our interactive museum next to the picnic area & Mini Land Rover Experience on the banks of the River Derwent. There is also the option for children to drive a mini Land Rover and families to
